Emergency Case
Armenia’s interstate highways and mountain passes are drivable, for the most part, as of Saturday at 11 a.m.
But there is black ice on some road sections, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed.
Selim Mountain Pass, the Berd-Chambarak Highway, and the local roads of several villages in the Gegharkunik, Aragatsotn, and Shirak regions are closed.
The local roads of Makenis and Akhpradzor villages in the Gegharkunik Region are difficult to pass.
Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.
And according to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, as of Saturday at 11 a.m., snowfall is continuing in Georgia; and there is low visibility and a danger of avalanche.
