No obstacles created for OSCE observers in eastern Ukraine — Donetsk republic ministry

The self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic Defense Ministry does not create obstacles to the work of OSCE observers, the ministry’s press service told TASS on Wednesday.
The access is only restricted to the areas where a threat is posed to the lives of the mission’s staff, the press service said.
“It is natural that we prevent them from going to the areas where they can come under fire, be blown up with explosives or endanger their lives the other way,” it said, adding that observers got the Defence Ministry’s special permission.
OSCE Secretary-General Lamberto Zannier said it's possible that the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine is being restricted. Observers see what they are allowed to see, Zannier said.
