A deputy leader of the ruling Republican party of Armenia (RPA), Mikael Minasyan, appears to be the only top-class RPA member not registered in the Party’s list of candidates, the local daily Hraparak reported.
The paper has learned that Minasyan, who is the son-in-law of the president, strongly refused to have his name on the ballot after he familiarized himself with the candidates preparing to run for parliament.
“It is unclear now how the move will reflect on his future,” the paper says, adding that the number of those discontent with the RPA list is growing
