A grenade explosion in a Yerevan disco club has reportedly left an entire hall ruined.
Armenia’s Police Force received a call on March 20, that Alen Elen disco club in Abovyan street was reported to be under bomb attack at 1:05 am.
Ten minutes later, an unknown man blew up a hall on the second floor by using a grenade. Later in the night, the police learned that seven individuals were hospitalized with inflammation of respiratory tract.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations said later that, three citizens of Iran - Nariman Salenipur, Alireza Minayi and Ahmet Poladbuz - were taken to the Research Center of Radiation and Burns.
Six other citizens of the Islamic Republic - Natise Kunzad, Zahro Asad, Nazde Nemal, Gariusi Mariam, and Husein and Fatima Tayilis, and one Armenian citizen - Vahe Mirakyan - had smoke poisoning.
The survivors' condition is estimated to be of medium gravity. A probe has been launched to clarify the circumstances of the incident and the amount of the damage caused. A forensic examination has been assigned. An inquest is under way.
