Azerbaijani sniper injures Armenian villager

The rival’s sniper has shot in the direction of a resident of Berkaber community of Armenia’s Tavush region. The incident happened today in the morning. The Head of the Berkaber community Arthur Madatyan stated this in conversation with
“Armenpress”. 

Among other things, the Head of the Berkaber community Arthur Madatyan underscored: “The rival’s snipers opened fire at 32­year old Aghasi Tamrazyan, when he was fishing. He received injury in the area of his leg. We took him to the hospital. Everything is ok. His life is not in danger now. He will be taken to home.” In addition, the Head of the Berkaber community Arthur Madatyan noted that the rival opened fire in the direction of other villagers as well. “The situation is normal. We are keeping the border; such things happen. This is our village; we must stand for it and protect it. The most important thing is that his life is not endangered now,” Madatyan said.
