Selim Mountain Pass closed in Armenia.
Emergency Case
Armenia’s interstate highways and mountain passes are drivable, for the most part, as of Thursday at 10 a.m.
But there is black ice on some road sections, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed.
Selim Mountain Pass, and the local roads of Akhpradzor village in the Gegharkunik Region are closed.
Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.
And according to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, as of Thursday at 10 a.m., the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is closed; and there is a danger of avalanche.
