Five Syrian Armenian families to get apartments in New Year

Due to the program, initiated by the Aleppo Benevolent Patriotic Union, five Syrian Armenian families will move to new apartments from January 2015. The Chairwoman of the Aleppo Union Ani Palkheyan told Armenpress about it. The program aims at purchasing apartments for $25,000 via benefactors in Yerevan and presenting them to the neediest Syrian Armenian families.

“The organization carries out all the work connected with the search of the apartments and the necessary notary issues. The money for the apartments has been allocated by the great benefactor from Syria Gabriel Chemberjian. We are in contact with other benefactors as well in order to purchase five more apartments”, ­ said the Chairwoman of the Aleppo Union.
