NKR Security Council convokes meeting.

On March 23, President of the Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan convoked a meeting of the Security Council. The draft of the NKR Civil Defense Strategy was discussed during the meeting.

Director of Rescue Service Arthur Haroutyunyan delivered a report on the issue.

Bako Sahakyan considered the organization and realization of civil defense among the key functions of the state, a pivotal and integral component of the country's security.

The Head of the State approved the draft of the Civil Defense Strategy and assigned the Security Council Secretary to start the approval process of the document in accordance with the established procedure, NKR President's Press Service reports.
