Azerbaijan carries out subversive attempts against Karabakh, suffering casualties

In the night from January 22 to January 23 in the east and northeast directions of the line of contact between the Karabakh Azerbaijani opposing armies, the rival conducted subversive attempts. The frontier troops of the Defense Army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic noticed the penetration of the Azerbaijani special forces and threw them backto their positions. When opposing the rival, the Defense Army did not have any casualties. According to the preliminary data, the Azerbaijani side has 3 dead. Within the period ranging from January 22 to January 23 the rival violated the ceasefire regime on the line of contact between the KarabakhAzerbaijani opposing forces around 320 times, during which more than 4000 shots were fired in the direction of the Armenian military positions, including grenade launchers, along with different caliber weapons.

Armenpress reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic that the vanguard units of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Defense Army, however, kept the tactical operational situation under constant control, taking retaliatory actions when necessary.
