MFA to be moved to new building in 2016
Armenia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia will be moved to a new building in 2016. This is what Head of the State Property Management Department adjunct to the Government of the Republic of Armenia Arman Sahakyan said during a January 30 press conference, as “Armenpress” reports.
On 27 December 2012, the Government of the Republic of Armenia approved the decision on alienation of Governmental Building N 2, after which that building was sold to Eduardo Eurnekian’s Tango Company. The new building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be located at the intersection of 2/1 Zakyan Street and 3 Vazgen Sargsyan Street, in between the building of the Prosecutor’s Office and the former Sevan Hotel.
