Armenia’s ex-president Robert Kocharyan personally struck Vardan Bostanjyan off the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) list.
According to the newspaper, Bostanjyan wrote an application, and even signed documents on real estate and incomes.
Bostanjyan was originally to be put on the list. However, after PAP Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan submitted the draft list to Robert Kocharyan, he struck Bostanjyan off the list.
“We are committed to the documents we signed,” Bostanjyan said, implying the coalition memorandum signed a year ago.
According to the newspaper, Bostanjyan plans to announce his secession from the PAP after the parliamentary elections.
