No meeting of Putin, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande planned for nearest future — Kremlin

The leaders of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France do not plan to hold another meeting in the nearest future, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS on Tuesday.
"They [leaders of Russia, France, Ukraine and Germany] did not discuss holding a personal meeting [during last telephone talks]," Peskov said.
Last night, Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Francois Hollande, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed the possibility of holding a meeting at the level of foreign ministers, Peskov said. Answering a question on whether this may mean preparations for a meeting of the four leaders are underway, Peskov said: "We don’t know how it [the possible meeting of foreign ministers] will end."
Deputy foreign ministers to discuss Ukraine settlement in Berlin on Friday
A Russian diplomatic source told TASS that deputy foreign ministers of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France (the so-called Normandy format) are going to meet in Berlin on Friday.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said he is prepared to take part in talks between foreign ministry officials on March 6.
"The Russian side will name its official representative after the appropriate level of participants is determined," Karasin told TASS, noting that he was ready to attend the meeting in the German capital.
"I am ready, but preparatory work is still under way," the diplomat said. "The ball is in our German counterparts’ court. The meeting is scheduled for Friday at the moment," he added.
