"Haykakan Zhamanak": An employee of Yerevan’s Central Passport Department is dismissed by the order of Vladimir Gasparyan.

On the instruction of Armenia’s Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan, an empoyee at capital Yerevan’s Central Passport Department is dismissed for including renowned, but dead, Academician Fadey Sargsyan in the voters’ list for the forthcoming National Assembly elections, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

“The fired employee, however, is a mere scapegoat, because it is apparent that the falsification of the voters’ lists with the departed and their [the lists’] filling with the absent is being carried by the instruction coming from the higher echelons of power,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
