On March 31, a car accident took place in front of the Police Academy located at Isakov Avenue in Yerevan at around 05:00 a.m. The driver of the VAZ-21144 bus (state license number 14 SO 707) Edgar Melkonyan, 28, the driver of an Opel (state license numbers 20 OT 894) Arayik Melkonyan, 35, and the driver of a 4-701R tractor Petros Melkonyan, 36, collided near electric pole N 231.

After the accident, driver of the VAZ-21144, Edgar Melkonyan was transferred to Surp Grigor Lusavorich Hospital with injuries.
