Russia is not considering plans to ease the food embargo for some EU countries, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexey Meshkov said on Thursday.
"Russia is firmly complying with its commitments as part of the WTO and that’s why no individual easing is envisaged," Meshkov said.
Russia’s food embargo is valid until August 8, 2015. As part of this embargo, Moscow banned key agricultural imports from the EU, Canada, the US, Norway and Australia, including fruits, berries, fish and sea products.
