Azerbaijan uses different caliber grenade launchers and 60 mm mortars: Karabakh MOD

The rival continues violating the ceasefire regime in different directions of the line of contact. In accordance with the operative data of the Defense Army of Nagorno Karabakh Republic, within the period ranging from April 22 to April 23 night, the rival violated the ceasefire regime for about 150 times on the line of contact of Karabakh­Azerbaijani opposing armies, during which more than 1800 shots were fired towards our troops from arms of various calibers.

Intensive violations were registered especially in the southeast and east directions of the line of contact, during which the rival used grenade launchers and 60 mm mortars.

The Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic informed Armenpress that the frontier units of the Defense Army gave relevant response to the rival’s actions and confidently continued carrying out their military duty
