The Republican Party has not nominated a candidate in constituency No.12 but it will hinder the victory of Prosperous Armenia’s candidate Lyova Khachatryan who runs in this constituency, 168 Zham reports.

The paper reminds that Lyova Khachatryan was elected in Aparan in the previous parliamentary elections. RPA backs Vrezh Markosyan in Aparan and does not back Lyova Khachatryan because of his criticism of authorities and his conflict with the Prosecutor General.

Constituency No.12 features Tigran Ter-Petrosyan (HAK), Anahit Bakhshyan (Heritage), Ruben Masumyan (Orinats Yerkir), Karlen Gevorgyan (ARF) and journalist Gohar Veziryan.

“Political circles do not rule out that the authorities will cede this constituency to the opposition,” says the daily.
