Rumors about election bribes are sweeping Armenia on the threshold of parliamentary elections.

A young man that visited the newspaper reporter’s home came directly to the point: “I’m from the Republican Party of Armenia. One passport 8,000 drams.”

“But if I prefer another party?” asked the journalist. The young man’s “brilliant” answer was: “It is up to you. We are a democratic country.”

The young man actually knows that each citizen of a democratic country has the right to choose, and there is no need for imposing anything on people.
