Justice Minister uninformed of the suicide case at Kosh Penitentiary.

A suicide occurred at the Kosh penitentiary on Thursday.

The photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed News.armeniatv.com that officers of the Aragatsotn police department and officials of Armenia’s Ministry of Justice arrived at the scene.

Misak Stepanyan (born in 1969) had hanged himself. Last year, he was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment for an armed hold-up.

Gagik Shamshyan turned to Minister of Justice Hrair Tovmasyan for comments. The minister, however, said he was not informed of the incident.
