"Zhoghovurd": MP Samvel Aleksanyan asks for money.

When Zhoghovurd daily’s staff had called Armenian businessman MP Samvel Aleksanyan to clarify why his Bentley and Rolls Royce were replaced by a US$ 12,000 worth Smart, a young man answered the phone and said “the boss” was busy, the daily writes.

“We again called the MP yesterday [Tuesday] and asked whether he had no money to drive luxurious cars. ‘If I had money, I would not have driven such small car. If I had money, I would not have opened a bank account so people could transfer money and I could carry out a [parliamentary election] campaign. I am no longer a businessman; and I ask that you print my bank account number so people would know, [and] help me,’ [Aleksanyan said],” Zhoghovurd writes.
