21 civil servants give oath during solemn ceremony at the RA Ministry of Diaspora.

On April 11, 21 civil servants who won the civil service contest and passed the probation period gave an oath during a solemn ceremony at the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
The event was attended by RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, Vice-Chairman of the RA National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov, NA Deputies Galust Sahakyan and Artak Zakaryan, Superintendent-Director of the Armenian Homes of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the AGBU, Archimandrite Komitas Hovnanyan, artists, scientists, Armenians from the Diaspora, students and others.
The event began with the RA national anthem, followed by the screening of a film about the activities of the RA Ministry of Diaspora in the past three years.
In his welcoming speech, Father, Archimandrite Komitas Hovnanyan gave his blessing and wished the civil servants participating in the oath ceremony success. He attached importance to their role as “apostles” in serving for the preservation of the Armenian identity and keeping Diaspora Armenians connected to their homeland.
Congratulating the civil servants, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan emphasized that civil servants had a high responsibility for the state and the nation in this newly created structure of state administration. The minister also mentioned that Diaspora Armenians could be rest assured that the employees of the RA Ministry of Diaspora were their reliable and heartfelt friends in the homeland. Then, Hranush Hakobyan handed certificates to the civil servants participating in the solemn oath ceremony.
Vice-Chairman of the RA National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov also congratulated the civil servants and mentioned that the establishment of the RA Ministry of Diaspora was one of the most significant phenomena in the contemporary history of Armenia.
Expressing gratitude to Minister Hranush Hakobyan and the employees of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, Sharmazanov expressed the willingness to support the ministry’s initiatives aimed at reinforcing the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora triumvirate.
Deputy of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan wished that the civil servants’ ranking bring them honor in their careers in the future.
Diaspora Armenians from Germany, Iraq and other countries were also there to greet and congratulate the civil servants.
The event concluded with beautiful performances by RA Distinguished Artist Ruben Sahakyan.
