Future son-in-law of Gyumri mayor found dead.

The would-be son-in-law of Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan was found dead in his car in the vicinities of the city’s Mother Armenia statue yesterday night.
The murdered, Karen Yesayan, had just returned from the United States for his engagement ceremony which was due today.
The police sources have confirmed that Yesayan, 27, was reported missing on Thursday night after he left in an unknown direction in his Mercedes vehicle. The car with his dead body was found in one of the city’s districts at 9:00 pm local time. Yesayan reportedly died of gunshots. The police say they are still probing into the matter.
Investigative Department of the regional police has opened a criminal case under Article 104 (Murder) and 235 (Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices) of Armenia’s Criminal Code.
