Harutyun Sargsyan arrested on Gyumri`s murder case.

Harutyun Sargsyan, 29, Ashotsk village resident of Armenia’s Shirak Region, was arrested on the Gyumri murder case, RA police media department informed LURER.com.

A criminal case is instigated, an investigation is in progress.

LURER.com has earlier informed that the Chief of Shirak region’s police department Karen Babakekhyan said that the murder definitely does not have political background. Jealousy is one of the versions of the murder of the fiancé of Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan’s daughter.

To note, Karen Yesayan, fiancé-to-be of Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan’s daughter, was killed on Thursday.

Police confirmed information not providing additional details.

Police found Yesayan’s body in Mercedes on the same day. According to some sources, he was to be engaged with the Gyumri Mayor’s daughter on Friday.

Later, the member of murder investigation group Vahram Beybutyan died in a car accident.
