Ban on entering Russian Federation withdrawn for 2 thousand 600 citizens of Armenia

The decision on 2 thousand 600 citizens prohibited to enter the Russian Federation has changed. Gagik Yeganyan – head of
Armenia’s migration service mentioned this in an interview with journalists after the parliament session. He said that about 9 thousand 500 people applied to the service with the request to change the decision regarding them. According to Yeganyan many of the citizens don’t even know for which violation they were included in the list of people banned to enter Russia. Yeganyan mentioned that 2223 percent of the responses to the applications for withdrawing the ban was positive last year, whereas this
year that number has reached 63 percent.
