Armenia to join Shanghai Cooperation Organization as partner

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cambodia and Nepal are going to become Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) partners. Тhe President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin stated the aforementioned. As RIA Novosti reported, Putin added that there are many
other countries willing to participate in SCO's activities and their applications will be discussed by all means. He highlighted in his speech that the Republic of Belarus will gain the status of observer. President of Kazakhsta Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed that Turkey and Islamic Republic of Iran have also expressed a wish to cooperate with the Shanghai Cooperation organization.
