Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the head of the EU Delegation in Armenia, Ambassador Traian Hristea

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the head of the EU Delegation in Armenia, Ambassador Traian Hristea who is finishing his diplomatic mission in our country. Expressing gratitude to the Ambassador for coordinated teamwork Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that it the cooperation was really effective and successful.
"We attach importance to cooperation development in different directions with the European Union, and I should note, Mister Ambassador, that with your direct assistance our joint projects were effective and successful indeed. The programs implemented with the financing of the EU make it possible to gain new partners and to carry out experience exchange. Today Yerevan Municipality implements a number of highly important credit projects and we should work consistently to ensure their successful realization. Simultaneously, we expect support of the EU in our new initiatives", said the Mayor.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome, the head of the EU Delegation, Ambassador Traian Hristea in his turn noted that Yerevan Municipality is really a reliable partner and expressed his satisfaction with the interaction carried out recently and being carried out at the present. He also stressed that the cooperation has been bilaterally successful.
"We have had a lot of opportunities to make certain of your willingness and being a reliable partner and the results are reflected n our joint programs. I am sure, Mister Mayor, that in the coming years the cooperation between the European Union and Yerevan Municipality will go on being mutually beneficial and its circles will be expanded and will include new spheres", said Traian Hristea.
At the end of the meeting Mayor Taron Margaryan wished Traian Hristea a lot of new achievements. The Mayor also assured that the cooperation of Yerevan Municipality with the EU Delegation Office in Armenia will be long-term.
