According to Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun, Syunik governor, Republican Party member Suren Khachatryan said at a meeting that they must exert every effort and mobilize all their forces in order to prevent failure in the elections in Goris, because otherwise he may be sacked.

“Those who will do well will get a tourist voucher to Paris. If someone tries to raise his head here, you will be answerable with your heads,” the governor was quoted as saying.
