"Zhoghovurd": Gagik Tsarukyan’s gun is President Serzh Sargsyan’s personal gift.

The daily Zhoghovurd writes the widely discussed gun of the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party (PAP) Gagik Tsarukyan was gifted to him by Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan.

Tsarukyan’s spokesman Khachik Galstyan neither declined nor confirmed the news, saying ‘Stop digging into the topic, stop it, speak about other things.’

The daily reminds that Tsarukyan went to the meeting in Etchmiadzin with a gun. Later he was claiming that it was a mobile. Former foreign minister of Armenia Vartan Oskanian, running for parliamentary elections with the PAP, said the impression was that it was really a gun.

By the way the PAP declines that Tsarukyan carries a gun, though, the paper says, according to the law, he has that right as member of the country’s Security Council.
