Demonstration in front of Turkish Embassy in Paris

At the initiative of Patrick Karam, President of “La Coordination des Chrétiens d'Orient en Danger” (CHREDO), a demonstration took
place in front of Turkish Embassy, Paris on Sept. 7. The demonstration was against Turkey twotrack policy in the struggle against
terrorist groups in the Middle East. Syrians, Armenians, Kurds, Yazidis, Lebanese participated in the demonstration who expressed their discontent regarding the steps taken by Turkish state in present situation. “Armenpress” reports the aforesaid referring to Nouvelles d’Armenie.
Co-Chairman of the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF) Ara Toranian reminded that Turkey is obliged to recognize the 1915 Genocide of Armenians, Assyrians and other national minorities.
“Time does not appease anything; time is not capable of changing the nature of the crime committed towards humanity. As long as Turkey goes on sticking to the current position, suffering will continue and the problem will not be solved.”, -said Toranian.
