Citizen of Azerbaijan arrested by compatriots when trying to cross Armenian border

Shahlar Bayram oglu Abdullayev, Resident of Aghkend village, Tartar region of Azerbaijan made an attempt to cross the Armenian border due to unjust and illegal decision of Tartar District Court Nadir Asgarov. Shahlar Bayram oglu Abdullayev was arrested by
compatriots.

“Armenpress” reports the aforementioned referring to Tartar sources of moderator.az.

It is noted that Abdullayev was tired of the indifference on the part of various authorities to which he had turned to referring the unjust fine of 33 thousand manats. Thus, he wanted to cross the border passing to the Armenian side but was arrested by Azerbaijani soldiers and was handed over to the district department of the Ministry of National Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During interrogation, Abdullayev said that the reason for his action was the unjust decision of Tartar District Court. His relatives and fellow villagers are not aware where Abdullayev is currently being kept.
