Italian city of Ravenna recognized Armenian Genocide

Italian Ravenna city unanimously recognized the Armenian Genocide on October 22. As Armenian MFA Press Service, Information
and Public Relations Department informed “Armenpress”, the resolution adopted by Ravenna City Council, reads that, taking
account the application of Armenian union in Italy, as well as the consequence that Armenian tragedy was recognized as a Genocide by UN human rights commission, European parliament, by the Italian Chamber of Deputies and by Pope Francis, Ravenna City Council recognizes the Armenian Genocide and expresses its solidarity with the Armenian people on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
