Azerbaijan ignores mediators’ calls and violates international law norms: Armenian MOD

Armenian Ministry of Defense strongly condemns Azerbaijani side’s regular terroristic action in the result of which two servicemen of Artsakh Defense Army were killed. The Ministry’s announce reads about the aforementioned, as “Armenpress” reports. “The Ministry
of Defense of the Republic of Armenia expresses its deep condolences to the relatives of servicemen Vahe Vardgesyan and Michael Torosyan fatally injured from enemy shots in one of the units’ military base located in the southern direction of the Defense Army, and shares the grief of loss.

Armenian Defense Ministry strongly condemns Azerbaijani side’s regular terroristic action. Realizing that this action will not remain without consequences and the guilty will be punished, Azerbaijani military­political government again stresses the situation. At the same time, we call to draw an attention to the fact that Azerbaijani actions over destabilization of the situation intensify day by day immediately after the election procedures of the mentioned country and Minsk Group Co­chairs’ visit to the region, which states once again the mentioned country’s destructive approach to the resolution of NKR conflict; ignoring mediators’ calls and violation of international law norms”, the announcement reads.
