The Armenian State Revenue Committee (SRC) and the Latvian State Revenue Service signed, in Armenia’s capital Yerevan, an agreement on technical cooperation.
The Latvian delegation, led by State Revenue Service Director General Nelia Yezdakova, is in Armenia on an official visit.
The objective of the Latvian delegation’s visit is to discuss cooperation between the two administrations. Within the framework of their visit, the Latvian guests met with the SRC’s senior officials, and examined matters of mutual interest.
The parties concluded that the state revenue systems of Armenia and Latvia share many similarities, they carry out the same functions, have similar backgrounds, and hold comparable views on the systems’ future development.
Underscoring the need to provide quality service to taxpayers, Nelia Yezdakova pointed to the fact that a considerable work has been done in this regard in Armenia, too.
