Azerbaijan fired mortars in Artsakh direction last night

According to the operative data, provided by the Defense Army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, the adversary violated the
ceasefire regime for about 70 times in the line of contact of the Karabakh­-Azerbaijani opposing armies during the night of November 19-­20.

More than 900 shots were fired towards Armenian frontier troops from weapons of different caliber including 60 mm mortars during the abovementioned period.

The Press Service of the Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic informed “Armenpress” that the adversary’s aggressive
attacks were suppressed due to the prompt actions taken by the frontier troops of the Defense Army. The frontier troops of the Defense Army are in control of the situation and confidently carry out their military duty.
