The EU is interested in quick and fair settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Philippe Lefort said in a meeting with the Azerbaijani Speaker Ogtay Asadov.

“We have already clearly stated our disposition on the issue. The EU is seriously concerned about the situation in the region. We are sure that the existing status-quo should be changed and the conflict should gain its fair and quick settlement. It is inadmissible to allow a new explosion in the region,” 1news.az reports quoting Azerbaijani Parliament’s press release.
