Criminal case was initiated over Anelik Bank employee’s murder

On November 24, 2015 Armenian Investigative Committee received an alert at about 20:40 that there is a man’s corpse near
Vardanants 14 building. Investigation-operative group immediately visited the incident area headed by Kentron and Nork-Marash
Administrative District’s Investigative department’s investigator.

As the Information and Public Relations Department of the Armenian Investigative Committee informed “Armenpress”, it turned out that in still unclear circumstances, near Vardanants 14 building, the young man got out of a car, and at that very moment a shot was fired towards Hovhannes Atanyan(1983.born), as a result of which the young man died.

Criminal case was initiated over the mentioned case on November 24 in Kentron and Nork­Marash Administrative District’s Investigative department according to Armenian Republic’s Criminal Code Article 104, part 1.

All necessary investigative actions are taken to find out all the circumstances of the case, the motive for the killing and to identify the offender.
