PAP is not aware of any stabbing case of the party member.

"We have no information about the stabbing case of a PAP member," PAP spokesman Khachik Galstyan said during the talk with LURER.com, commenting on the news spread in Armenian media, that 3 days ago during the fight in Yerevan's Arabkir district one of the young people who died was a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party.

To note, due to today's release of an Armenian media outlet, a fight took place in Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan three days ago. As a result of the fight one of the young participants died. The paper revealed that the young man was a PAP member
and was mostly known with the nickname 'Banjaranotsi Zhorik'.

Also to mention, that during the talk with another media outlet, the PAP pre-election headquarters confirmed that Zhora Karapetyan was one of the PAP activists.

Today RA Police issued a statement over the stabbing case which mainly reads:

"On April 18 Arabkir Police Department received information that at 03:30 of the night, Zhora Karapetyan, 29, was transferred to Yerevan's Medical Center after Mikaelyan with body injuries.

The young man stated in hospital that he got the injuries after falling down the stairs of Komitas 56 bld.

The next day Arabkir police officers detained a suspect over the beating case of Karapetyan. The detainee was Saribek Harutyunyan, born in 1979.

It turned out that on April 18, at about 00:05 of local time, Harutyunyan beat Zhora Karapetyan in Arabkir 19 street and caused injury.

A criminal case has been launched over the case. Saribek Harutyunyan is arrested.

On April 26, at about 10:30am, Zhora Karapetyan, without coming to consciousness, died in hospital.

The investigation is underway."
