"Hraparak": ''Dear deseased, we ask you not to come to the elections!’' - ANC young members.

Meruzhan Abrahamyan, who is the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress’ MP candidate nominated in the Armavir Region for the forthcoming National Assembly elections, told Hraparak daily that the voting lists are inflated in their constituency, too.

“As case in point, it was in 1990 that Metsamor’s [city] had the largest population, with twelve thousand. ‘After that it reduced ever year, the people went, and, according to my calculations, the population today should have been nine thousand at most. But today the number of voters reaches nine thousand. Why are they not removing those non-existent people?’

Abrahamyan told that several days ago his team’s youth gathered and went to the cemetery, where they announced with a loudspeaker: ‘Dear departed, we ask you not to come to the elections!’”, Hraparak writes.
