Rumors circulate that Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan plans to resign, according to Yerkir. However, the paper did not manage to clear up the rumor.

“Panic moods in Orinats Yerkir [Rule of Law party] caused by candidate withdrawals, especially by the obvious change in Serzh Sargsyan’s disposition, can be the reasons behind his decision to quit as Agriculture Minister,” the paper says.
