More than 1700 shots were fired towards Armenian frontier troops from weapons of different caliber as well as from 60mm,
82mm and 120mm mortars, RPG­-7, AGS­-17 grenade launchers, TR­-107 artillery rockets during the armed clashes in the Line of Contact of the Karabakh­-Azerbaijani opposing armies on December 20 and the night of December 21. The adversary also applied 122­ mm howitzer D-­30 in the southern direction of the Line of Contact (Hadrut).

As the Press Service of the Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic informed “Armenpress”, the frontier troops of the Defense Army took punitive measures to restrain the adversary’s provocative actions and continued confidently carrying out their combat duty.
