The number of people who left Armenia during January-March through all the kind of transport means is 28 100 more from those who arrived, the statistics of migration service of the territorial administration ministry suggests.
In the same span of the past year the number of departing people was 20 400 more than those who arrived. It means that the negative balance of departing-arriving difference has grown by 7 700 people. The paper says according to this statistics in the first three months of 2012 38% more people departed than returned.
The paper says the above mentioned 28 100 figure should not be treated without reservation as some issues have been raised in connection with it. The thing is that only in March of the running year the number of people departing from Armenia was 13 700 more from those arriving in the country.
In January-February the number of departed people was 17 500 more from the arrived. The sum of these two figures should make 31 200, but with the migration service’s statistics their sum made 128 100 and only the specialists of the agency know how this figure has been got.
