"Yerkir": Sexual terrorism over phone in YSLU.

The Free Students’ Forum, which is established by the students at Yerevan State Linguistic University, is organizing a signature campaign with a demand to hold special elections for the University’s Student Council, Yerkir daily writes.

“[SMS] Messages with threatening, abusive, [and] dirty words were sent to the [cell] phone numbers of some of the students organizing the signature campaign, a University student told Yerkir, and added that the messages are sent via [telephone] numbers from abroad.

And this is not all. The students are receiving calls from undisclosed [telephone] numbers and being threatened.

To the question as to whether the Police are informed about all this, the student replied that solely the parents are dealing with this matter,” Yerkir writes.
