Azerbaijan made attempt of subversive act last night

The rival made provocations in the line of contact of the Karabakh­-Azerbaijani opposing armies on January 25 and during the night of January 26. More than 600 shots were fired towards Armenian frontier troops from weapons of different caliber, including AGS-­
17 grenade launchers and 60 and 82mm mortars during the abovementioned period.

As Press Service of NKR Defense Ministry informed “Armenpress”, the adversary made an attempt of a subversive act in southern direction of the contact line of Karabakh­Azerbaijani opposing armies at 04:30, January 26. The frontier troops of the Defense Army identified in time the advance of the Azerbaijani special unit and pushed them back to their starting positions.

During the recorded skirmish Defense Army had no losses.

The frontier troops of the Defense Army of Artsakh control the operative situation and continued to confidently carry out their military duties.
