"Zhoghovurd": Serzh Sargsyan`s statements on supporting Gagik Tsarukyan were aimed to disgrace the PAP.

The daily Zhoghovurd writes at the yesterday’s meeting in Abovian President Serzh Sargsyan stated about Republican party’s support to Gagik Tsarukyan nominated in Abovian.

The statement is remarkable in respect that Tsarukyan is the only nominated candidate there and even in case of the biggest wish Sargsyan cannot back anyone else there. But this statement of the RPA leader comes in the light of rather noticeable tension between the RPA and Prosperous Armenia party, moreover the later is cooperating with the Armenian National Congress (ANC) and Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) in fighting against election frauds.

With the statement on supporting Tsarukyan Serzh Sargsyan in reality wanted to disgrace the PAP, showing that there are no disputes between these two coalition partners and the opposition behavior of the PAP’s leader is just a pre-electoral game to gain people’s sympathies. The paper says unlike Serzh Sargsyan’s behavior in Mashtots park, the statements of the president in Abovian were much more efficient.
