Azerbaijan continued to violate ceasefire regime during weekend

The situation was tense both on Armenia-Azerbaijan border and the contact line of Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan during the weekend. The adversary continued to violate the ceasefire regime, Defense Ministry spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan told
“Armenpress”.

“Tension could be noted on border areas during the weekend. We can say that the situation in almost all the bordering communities of Tavush Province was tense. As we know, a civilian was wounded two days ago by the rival shooting, another citizen’s agricultural property was severely damaged. The measures of the Armenian army were proportionate. Destabilization of the situation during panChristian feasts by Azerbaijan and its neglect towards the calls of the international organizations to maintain the ceasefire
regime did not remain without retaliation”, Artsrun Hovhannisyan said.
