Azerbaijan continues ceasefire violations

On the night of April 11, the situation on the Line of Contact remained unchanged.

The Azerbaijani troops violated the ceasefire in some sections of the Line of Contact, using firearms and mortars.

The Azerbaijani troops shelled the Armenian positions using 60mm mortars (two shots) and AN-17 grenade launchers (14 shots).

The advance forces of the Nagorno-Karabakh defense army mainly refrained from retaliating and continued accomplishing their military tasks.

“According to a ceasefire agreement, Azerbaijan will be allowed to continue search for the bodies of killed soldiers.

“The fate of one soldier of the Nagorno-Karabakh defense army remained unknown, and the International Committee of the Red Cross is conducting an inquiry,” reads a statement by the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army.
