Azerbaijan shells Armenian defense positions in Tavush

Azerbaijan kept the situation tense along Armenia’s north-eastern border overnight, committing nine ceasefire violations and releasing irregular fire against Armenian defense guards in Tavush.

According to an official statement on the Defense Ministry’s website, the frontline military subdivisions of the Armenian Armed Forces demonstrate restraint, taking retaliatory action only upon strict necessity and confidently continuing their military vigil.
