Azerbaijan continues ceasefire violations: two Armenian soldiers wounded

The situation remained stable on the Line of Contact between the Azerbaijani and Nagorno-Karabakh armed forces on the night of April 18.
The Azerbaijani armed forces committed over 50 violations the verbal ceasefire agreement along the Line of Contact, using arms of different calibers.
The Azerbaijani forces used an 82-mm mortar (three shots) in the north-eastern direction (Martakert).
The ceasefire violations resulted in two incidents: two soldiers of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) – Erik B. Matevosyan (born 1991) and Azat T. Barsamyan (born 1996) - were wounded.
Azerbaijani troops attempted an incursion in to the NKR territory in the northern section of the border. The Nagorno-Karabakh forces threw a 20-member Azerbaijani commando unit back to their positions.
The advance forces of the NKR Defense Army remains in full control of the situation.
