Nagorno-Karabakh reports deadly ceasefire violations

Azerbaijan’s continuing ceasefire violations along the Nagorno-Karabakh frontline have left two servicemen of the Defense Army killed.
In an official statement released Tuesday morning, Nagorno-Karabakh’s Ministry of Defense says that the adversary violated the truce 80 times ovenight, using all the artillery weapons and machine guns in its arsenal.
Apart from military posts, the Azerbaijani troops targeted also the town Martakert, releasing fire from a BM-21 "Grad".
The soldiers fatally wounded in the armed raid are Tigran M Poghosyan, 24, and Aram N Arushanyan, 46. Both are reported to be contract servicemen.
Nagorno-Karabakh’s Ministry of Defense shares the heavy grief of the loss, extending its solidarity to the families and fellow servicemen of the deceased.
To neutralize the Azerbaijani troops’ aggression, the Defense Army took preventive steps in the early hours of Tuesday, targeting the adversary’s frontline defense positions and flashpoints and inflicting human and material losses,
The situation along the Line of Contact is reported to be relatively calm now.
