Fire damages building of Armenia’s Ministry of Finance

Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report on a fire in the building of the Ministry of Finance, located at 4 Tigran Metz Avenue.

About 1,000sq meters of the building’s roof was on fire.

Twelve rescue teams and three fire escapes arrived at the scene. Armenia’s Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan led the fire brigades.

The fire destroyed about 700 sq meters of the wooden roof and nine furnished rooms owned by the HANARD company (about 400 sq meters).
